YC, YZ, and YCW are Chinese standard (GB/T 5013) general-purpose rubber flexible cables for a wide range of portable power applications. YZ is the light-to-medium duty variant; YC is the heavy-duty version with a thicker sheath; YCW adds weather and oil resistance for outdoor and industrial use. All feature fine-wire stranded copper conductors with rubber insulation and sheathing.
Available in 2 to 5 cores and conductor sizes from 0.75 mm² to 95 mm², rated at 300/500V (YZ) or 450/750V (YC, YCW).
| Type | Rated Voltage | Usage | Sheath |
|---|---|---|---|
| YZ | 300/500V | Light-to-medium | Rubber |
| YC | 450/750V | Heavy duty | Rubber (thicker) |
| YCW | 450/750V | Heavy duty, outdoor | Weather-resistant rubber |
Use YZ for light tools and small appliances (up to 300/500V). Specify YC for heavy industrial equipment requiring 450/750V and greater mechanical protection. Choose YCW when the cable will be exposed to outdoor weather, rain, or oil splash. YC is functionally equivalent to H07RN-F; YZ to H05RN-F.
