JHS is a Chinese standard waterproof rubber cable designed for direct submersion in water and use in wet or underwater environments. Fine-wire stranded copper conductors insulated with rubber compound, assembled with moisture-blocking fillers, and sheathed in a specially compounded waterproof rubber jacket maintain insulation integrity under prolonged water exposure.
JHS cable is rated at 300/500V, operating temperatures ‑40°C to +70°C. Used for water pump motors, fountain lighting, underwater tools, and agricultural irrigation equipment where continuous contact with water is unavoidable. 2 to 4 cores; 0.75 mm² to 35 mm².
Standard rubber cables are splash- and damp-resistant but not rated for continuous submersion. JHS cable is specifically engineered for immersed operation, with moisture-blocking construction tested for prolonged water exposure without insulation degradation.
