The ILB2 series 2-pin 600V in-line (IL) power connectors enable mid-cable wet-mate power connections for underwater vehicles, tethered ROV power circuits, and subsea cable assemblies. Unlike the bulkhead (BH) mount variant, the in-line configuration connects two cable runs end-to-end — providing a field-separable joint at the tether termination, battery cable, or mid-run power distribution point without requiring panel mounting hardware. Rated 600V DC/AC at up to 120A per contact; depth rated to 4,000 m (400 bar).
The ILB2F female and ILB2M male variants mate together to form a sealed, IP68 in-line power junction. The coupling nut locking mechanism provides positive lock confirmation and resistance to vibration-induced unmating during vehicle transit. Gold-plated contacts, EPDM O-ring seal, and anodised aluminium alloy body — identical in materials and ratings to the BHB2 bulkhead series for cross-interoperability in the same power system.

Use the ILB in-line series when both sides of the power connection are cable ends — typical at tether termination points, battery jumper cables, and mid-run power distribution. Use the BHB bulkhead series when one side is permanently mounted through a panel or housing. Both series use the same electrical contact and sealing system — male and female connectors are cross-compatible between ILB and BHB variants.
The ILB2M is a SubConn Power Battery Series in-line connector featuring 2 gold-plated contacts rated for 600 V DC/AC rms at 25 A per contact (maximum 50 A per connector). The robust chloroprene rubber body and nitrile O-ring sealing system enable reliable wet-mate operation at depths up to 300 bar (4,350 psi) with more than 500 mating cycles.
