450/750V Single-Core PVC Insulated Non-Sheathed Cable | 450/750V Copper Wire

450/750V Single-Core PVC Insulated Non-Sheathed Cable. 450/750V, Class 1 or Class 2 copper, 1.5–300 mm². Non-sheathed single core cable for installation in conduit or trunking where the conduit or trunking provides mechanical protection — the standard building wire format for conduit wiring systems per IEC 60364.

450/750V Single-Core PVC Insulated Non-Sheathed Cable

Non-sheathed single core cable for installation in conduit or trunking where the conduit or trunking provides mechanical protection — the standard building wire format for conduit wiring systems per IEC 60364. PVC insulation provides reliable dielectric properties at the rated voltage with good mechanical protection against abrasion and contact damage in the installation environment.

Available in a full range of cross-sections to suit every application from instrument signal wiring to power distribution, with colour options for conductor identification and country-specific colour coding requirements.

Selection Guide

Match Conductor Class to Application

Solid (Class 1) and stranded (Class 2) conductors are for fixed installation — they must not be flexed in service. Fine-stranded (Class 5) conductors can be routed around panel corners and dressed to terminals with repeated repositioning during installation, making them the preferred choice for control panel wiring where neat routing requires bending.

Cross-Section — Current Capacity and Voltage Drop

Select cross-section based on the higher of: the current capacity requirement (per IEC 60364-5-52 derating tables) and the voltage drop limit (typically 3% for final circuits). For long cable runs, voltage drop often dictates a larger cross-section than current capacity alone would require.
