Flat festoon cable for crane trolley systems. Type NGFLGOEU (PLANOFLEX). 300/500V, EPR insulation, CR rubber sheath, 180 m/min. VDE registered, UL listed, GOST-R. 3–42 cores 1.5–2.5 mm².
Flat festoon cables (type NGFLGOEU) are designed for overhead crane festoon systems where the flat cable profile provides a lower vertical clearance requirement and simplified clip mounting compared to round festoon designs. Unlike round cables, flat festoon cables bend in one plane only — parallel to the flat face — making them ideal for crane trolleys with constrained vertical dimensions or where close clip spacing is required to minimise cable sag.
The PLANOFLEX-type design uses EPR (PROTOLON) insulation and a chloroprene rubber (CR) outer sheath, approved to DIN VDE 0250-809, UL-File E 113313, and GOST-R. Individual core or pair screening is available for combined data + power flat festoon designs.

Flat cable profiles are typically 30–50% less in height than equivalent round cables — important where crane runway clearance is limited by building structure.
Flat cables mount on simple two-way clips without rotation — round cables require rotating swivel clips to prevent twisting at the support points.
VDE, UL, and GOST-R approvals on a single product variant eliminates the need for separate cable types for European, North American, and CIS market projects.
