H07VVH6-F PVC flat cable harmonized cable resistant to coldness

H07VVH6-F PVC Flat Cable — Harmonised Resistant to Coldness, 450/750V

H07VVH6-F is a harmonised European PVC-insulated PVC-sheathed flat cable rated at 450/750V with special cold-resistant compounding that maintains flexibility down to ‑25°C. The higher voltage rating compared to H05VVH6-F (300/500V) makes H07VVH6-F suitable for heavier portable tools, industrial equipment, and higher-power outdoor applications in cold climates. The flat parallel construction provides easy core identification and neat cable management on cable reels and in conduit systems.

Available in 2 to 5 cores; cross-sections from 1.0 mm² to 4.0 mm²; compliant with IEC 60227 and EN 50525-2-11. Widely used in Northern European and Scandinavian markets where outdoor winter use requires cold-flexible cables.

Selection Guide

When to Specify Cold-Resistant PVC

Standard PVC cables become stiff and brittle below ‑5°C, making them difficult to uncoil and liable to crack at bend points. Cold-resistant PVC cables remain pliable to ‑25°C — essential for reliable outdoor use in Nordic and continental winter conditions. For applications below ‑25°C, specify rubber (H07RN-F) or PUR alternatives.
